WHEN IS IT NEEDED TO PASS TO THE NEXT CAR SEAT?

Often, we replace our car seat with the next one too soon. Each seat is designed to ensure utmost safety and comfort to little ones , according to their weight, height and age. You need to change the car seat of your child when:

The top of the child’s head appears above the upper edge of the backrest.

Shoulders are more than 2 cm above the integrated seat belt attachment, with the headrest in the highest position.

DIFFERENT INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES

Car seats can be fitted in one of two ways. Both are safe. The most important thing is that the car seat is installed correctly.

ISOFIX or LATCH
Car seats can be installed without using car seat belts. ISOFIX or LATCH system is the easier, faster and safer way to install a car seat

It is easier to get a proper installation compare with a car seat belt. The car seat is installed in few simple steps, eliminating those difficulties that could occur with a car seat belt, and reducing the risk of error.

TOP TETHER
This is composed by two ISOFIX or LATCH connectors, located between the backrest and the seat of the car, and the third anchor point -TOP TETHER (stabiliser belt).

WHY BOOSTER SEAT IS IMPORTANT?

Booster seats protect children who are too big for a car seat but too small for a seat belt.

Experts shared that children should not be allowed to sit in a car without a booster seat until they are at least 145cm and weight between 36kg to 45kg

REAR-FACING: WHY AND HOW LONG

The AAP recommends that all infants ride rear-facing starting with their first ride home from the hospital. All infants and toddlers should ride in a rear-facing seat, as long as possible, until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their car safety seat manufacturer.1
